The message is in the music and the music is in the message. Brooklyn is a particularly special place in it that people from so many different places and walks of life live together here in real harmony. Nowhere could this be more obvious than at last night’s Burning Spear show at the Prospect Park bandshell. Also performing was Daptone Record’s Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens.
