My friend was telling me about how he was evacuated from his apartment this weekend after manhole covers began to shoot out of the ground on his block. Remarkably nobody was hurt as flames began to roar out from underneath the street. Unfortunately, this was not the case in Toronto on August 10th when an explosion at a propane facility wreaked damage that looked more like something out of a Michael Bay film.
