In this campaign for Coca-Cola and the FIFA World Cup, we traveled to Myanmar to film U Tin Aung—Myanmar’s national goalkeeper from 1965 to 1975—alongside the next generation of soccer stars. To bring the story to life, we gathered footage from around Yangon, filming the young soccer players in their real lives and then following them all the way to the stadium and back home. The result is a compelling story about change and the love for both the game and a place.

Among the many things that made this project so much fun: getting to meet U Tin Aung, watching these young soccer stars play like they meant it, spending time in a Buddhist monastery, and working with FIFA to film the cup itself.
