A tribute to American farming families.

Colgate wanted to tell the story of the American farming families that harvest and supply the mint for their products.

We traveled throughout Washington state and Oregon to meet and film these multi-generational families. During the process of filming, it clear that these families were big and welcoming to many. From the field workers to the mechanics, many of the people had been working together for a very long time. They were deeply part of each other’s lives. Some of them even lived on the farms. That sense of extended family—and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest light—combined into an immersive story about hard-working Americans.
